一、 Overall Structure Overview

The side-tipping self-unloading semi-trailer is a special equipment for bulk material transportation. It adopts an integrated modular structure as a whole, mainly composed of six core parts: main frame, cargo box system, hydraulic lifting system, tipping locking mechanism, traveling braking system and auxiliary protection devices. The vehicle structure takes into account high strength, high stability and lightweight characteristics, adapts to side unloading operations of various engineering, mining and building materials materials, with reasonable layout, low failure rate and high operation safety.

二、 Main Frame

As the load-bearing core of the semi-trailer, the frame adopts an integral through-beam structure, mostly made of high-strength manganese steel and wear-resistant alloy steel, and formed by automatic submerged arc welding process. The widened and heightened design of the main beam delivers excellent bending resistance, compression resistance and torsion resistance, which can withstand the load of heavy load and bumpy working conditions for a long time. The integrated stamping forming process of the integral chassis ensures high flatness and strong structural rigidity, effectively avoiding deformation and cracking caused by long-term heavy-load driving, and providing basic guarantee for the overall stability and load-bearing capacity of the vehicle.

三、 Cargo Box System

The cargo box is the core component for material loading. According to application scenarios, it is divided into three mainstream structures: closed box, fence box and U-shaped box. The box body is made of thickened wear-resistant plates, and the side plates and bottom plates are reinforced with stiffeners to improve impact resistance and wear resistance, suitable for loading different materials such as sand and gravel, ore, muck and coal. Meanwhile, the box adopts a seamless sealing process with arc polishing and sealing treatment at the corners to prevent fine material leakage. The overall structure is detachable and maintainable with convenient later maintenance, balancing practicality and durability.

四、 Hydraulic Lifting System

The hydraulic lifting system is the power core of side unloading, consisting of hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic power units, high-pressure oil pipes, control valve groups and hydraulic oil tanks. The vehicle is equipped with single-cylinder or double-cylinder synchronous lifting structure. The oil cylinder adopts thickened explosion-proof, wear-resistant and anti-corrosion design with sufficient lifting power and stable operation. Equipped with an intelligent synchronous control device, the system realizes stable single-side lifting and uniform speed falling, effectively avoiding lifting inclination, stuttering and deviation. In addition, it is fitted with an overload pressure relief protection device, which automatically relieves pressure during overload to protect hydraulic components and the overall vehicle structure and extend equipment service life.

五、 Tipping Support and Locking Mechanism

As the safety core of side tipping operation, this mechanism includes high-strength tipping rotating shafts, mechanical safety locks and anti-tipping support devices. Made of thickened alloy material, the rotating shaft has strong load-bearing capacity, smooth rotation and low wear, serving as the core fulcrum for box tipping. Under driving conditions, the safety lock automatically locks the cargo box to prevent box shaking and accidental tipping during driving; during unloading operation, the box can be tipped by manually unlocking the lock. Some high-end models are equipped with automatic locking system and anti-tipping limit device to accurately control the tipping angle, avoid excessive side tipping and greatly improve operation safety factor.

六、 Traveling and Braking System

The traveling and braking system determines the driving stability and safety of the vehicle, mainly including heavy-duty special axles, high-strength suspension assemblies, vacuum booster braking systems, ABS anti-lock braking systems and wear-resistant vacuum tires. The axle has excellent load-bearing performance, suitable for long-term heavy-load transportation. The suspension adopts leaf spring or air suspension structure with good shock absorption effect, reducing the loss of vehicle body structure caused by driving bumps. The braking system features rapid response and uniform braking. Equipped with ABS anti-lock device, it effectively prevents brake locking and vehicle tail flicking on rainy, snowy and slippery roads, ensuring driving safety for long-distance transportation and complex road conditions.

七、 Auxiliary Configuration System

The auxiliary configurations include full-vehicle lighting system, safety protection devices, intelligent operation console, rear protection and side protection devices. The whole vehicle is equipped with high-brightness waterproof LED lights, including turn signals, brake lights and outline marker lights, meeting the driving requirements for night and low visibility road conditions. Anti-collision guardrails and mudguards are installed on both sides and rear of the vehicle, which are compliant with regulations and effectively avoid collision damage during driving. The operation console centrally controls hydraulic lifting and locking unlocking with simple and convenient operation. All vehicle circuits are treated with waterproof and anti-corrosion process to adapt to complex outdoor operating environments.
